The small pail (9" × 8" × 8") holds 4 litres (1 U.S. gallon) of material. The large pail (9" × 8" × 11") holds a full 7 litres (1.85 U.S. gallons). Each includes an activated charcoal filter to absorb odors. Filters should be changed every 4 to 6 months. Replacement filters are available separately.
