This adapter is for use with our rotary tool plunge base or our fence and center kit for compact routers. It lets you hook the base onto the Veritas power tool guide to cut straight, accurate lines with assurance.
It attaches to the fence rods in place of the fence, providing a traveller that can be used on either side of the guide. It’s even compatible with the precision adjuster (these products are all available separately).
Made in Canada from anodized aluminum with stainless-steel knobs.
The Veritas 6" Traveller lets you attach a rotary tool plunge base to the fence rods of a Veritas power tool guide, in place of the guide's regular fence, so you can rout long, accurate lines for tasks like grooves for stringing or fine molding details with 1/8" shanked bits.
Yes, it hooks onto the rails on either side of the tool guide, so you can position it wherever your cut needs it, whichever side of the workpiece you're working from.
No, but it helps for cuts needing finer placement. You can slide the traveller into position and tighten the locking knobs by hand; the optional precision adjuster lets you fine-tune that position afterward.
Yes, it works with the Veritas fence and center kit for compact routers in addition to the rotary tool plunge base, so the same traveller serves either setup on the power tool guide.
