Fruit Fly Trap Caps

Here’s a simple, effective way to get rid of pesky fruit flies while repurposing canning jars you might already have.

These reusable caps thread onto regular-size screw-neck jars, and have a funnel design with five holes that allow flies to enter. Simply place an attractant such as apple cider vinegar or fruit juice (you supply) in the jar; the flies are lured inside and cannot escape.

The caps are dishwasher safe for easy clean-up and are sold in a package of four (one each of yellow, green, blue and white).
