The blade is made of top-quality steel that has been hardened with great precision then hollow ground. The handles are forged in manganese aluminum alloy and insulated with red plastic. The adjustable blades feature a wire-cutting notch along with a sap groove on the lower blade to stop the blades from sticking together. All Felco parts are replaceable.
